Ok. Where to start....
I was visiting Manchester for work and had 1 free evening hence decided to look for a place nearby to relax.
I arrived 10minutes earlier and sat down to wait, the receptionist was polite and professional. The masseur arrived and was asking the lady at reception loudly if I definitely have a booking, she did not look happy. Despite waiting, I was not invited to the room until 7minutes after the booked start time - for no particular reason as there were no other clients. I was not asked to fill in any forms about preferred pressure or any allergies or medical conditions... they don't seem to care about stuff like that.
The masseur did not knock when returning to the room after I undressed (that's just common sense...).
The room was clean and there was a relaxing music on AT FIRST.
When masseur came to the room, her phone was blasting an advert on YouTube. She left her phone on a cupboard next to my head and left to bring me a hair band. I was sure she would turn the YouTube off but instead she turned off the relaxing music and kept Asian pop ballads on (INCLUDING ALL THE ADS).
I was asked to lie down on a pillow (no slot to put your face into and relax your head) and therefore my neck was hurting more after the massage than before.
The aromatherapy basically means there is some tiger balm in the oil...
The massage method was ok, not bad but definitely was too hard around the shoulders even though I confirmed that I wanted medium strength.
Even though I paid for 1hr massage, the massage itself lasted for 35mins max... The price was low but that's what it was for this massage type for any time during the day.
From what I can see this place either has good or TERRIBLE reviews... you should REALLY investigate why that is... The masseur behaved like as if she was doing me a favour...
I will not be coming back and will certainly not be recommending to others
