This was the best way ever to spend a rainy Friday! Although the spa facilities are not mind blowing, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, and you don't feel rushed by the staff. Time goes at a different pace inside the Mandara spa. As for the treatments, they are top notch indeed. Having never had a Balinese massage before, this was an amazing experience. The therapists will also tailor the massage techniques based on your personal needs and preferences. And what's not to love about an Elemis facial? Left feeling completely renewed and in peace, with a huge smile on my face, courtesy of Mandara and my therapist Francesca.
Staff in front desk could have been more helpful. We arrived, were given robes and left to find our own way to changing rooms/lockers.
This was particularly disappointing when we then saw other arrivals being shown the way by front desk staff.
Other than this the facilities were fantastic and the personal trainer was brilliant.
I took my Mum for a treat just before the New Year as this spa deal included tea for two in the Hotel Executive Lounge and we had a fabulous table overlooking the Houses of Parliament for that. The Elemis spa is great - it's a pity that there isn't a relaxation room with automatic massage beds or a hot-tub but there is a nice pool and a sauna and a salt steam room and the spa area is as luxurious as any Elemis spa anywhere. The treatments were wonderful and my therapist was wonderful too. We had a marvellous time and my mother now expects me to treat her to more spa goodies.
