This could not have been a nicer experience! The treatments & therapists were fantastic, the spa very relaxing and the afternoon tea was amazing! We sat for afternoon tea in a beautiful executive lounge which looked out over Westminster bridge, the sandwiches, cakes & champagne were fabulous, I highly recommend this experience!
Nice spa - fab pedi area which we didn't try. Pool was nice if quite simple - very uncrowded which was great considering was only a couple of days after the wahanda offer and a saturday afternoon!
steam rooms and saunas were quite small. changing facilities etc adequate.
elemis massage was absolute heaven, best massage i have ever head! facial was really good too. therapist was fantastic, sadly i can't remember her name.
the afternoon tea didnt add much to the experience - it was served in a large soulless atrium albeit with good views of westminster. it was all set up for our arrival which was lovely but the sandwiches were a tad stale and the cakes not the greatest. would have been happy however to pay £67 just for the beauty treatments and use of the spa so cant complain.
would go back - v easy to get to just across westminster bridge. would like to try the balinese treatment next time as its meant to be amazing.
My mother and I went for a massage and facial that was supposed to be done at the same time. Unfortunately a therapist had just fainted so we ended up being done one after the other which was not what we were wanting as we both had an hour to hang around on our own but these things happen! Ambiance and atmosphere was perfect. The therapist, Sabi, was amazing. I have had facials and massages from many people all around the world and she was the best therapist I have ever had. Her massage was a hot stone massage for 30 mins and the facial was for 30 mins also but she was so good it felt like it was for much longer. I would go back just for her, my Mum also had her and agrees! We got to use the facilities which were quite disappointing. Sauna, steam room and pool were a bit dark and dingy. Not worth the "£25" stated. We were then escorted to have our afternoon tea. Views of Westminster and Big Ben and we had the place to ourselves. The afternoon tea was a nice selection of sandwiches and cakes which were ok. Really glad we went as it was enjoyable but I would only go back for a treatment as it wasn't worth the facilities and afternoon tea. Overpriced even on deal.
Great location, facilities are all brand new and loved that they had a powerplate in the gym and a swimming pool! Massage and facial were both lovely and well done but the cherry on the top has to be the "tea". The view across to Big Ben from your table and the executive lounge with its super high ceilings were so impressive, what a treat. And the layout of the sandwiches and cakes was very stylish and I have to say having been to "tea" at the Mill Bank tower the Plaza was better quality and much more variety. Miles ahead of the Mill Bank Tea!
Would definitely recommend you go and treat your special ones! You'll love it .
I could use the facilities ie. pool, sauna and steam for only 1 hour but so could the children of the hotel so it was very noisy and not at al restful. The spa is cleanand the staff very agreable. The treatments were relaxing and the tea was fantastic !
