My highlights & blowdry were good but I was made to feel uncomfortable when I first talked with the stylist and she made me feel like the price I had paid online was for highlights only which would damage my hair. For an extra £35 I was told I would get the ‘superhighlifts’ which would damage (and a toner- which was later disputed). I’m sick of buying a treatment on Treatwell and then being guilted into spending money to upgrade. I got frustrated a few points as I feel like there was miscommunication with the stylist- for instance I thought a toner was included in this extra £35, but it was apparently not. At no point did the manager or any senior member of staff come to speak to me and check I was ok. The highlifts, haircut and blow dry we’re fine but the customer service could do with some work. Also worth noting that most customers aren’t hairdressers and making them feel guilty and that their colour won’t be as good without paying the extra isn’t fair. Make it clearer and in layman’s terms if something isn’t included.
