I had an eyelash tint done, I have been having my eyelashes tinted for years and I was really disappointed at the results from my tint. After she had finished I looked in the morror to see the bases of my eyelashes still blonde. This has never happened before. So I explained this to her and said they will fade even quicker now and she was very rude, snarling asking me what I wanted her to do about it. She patronisingly said do you want me to do it again? I didn’t want to keep her as it was the last appointment of the day but didn’t want to pay all that money for a job not done so I asked if she would mind doing them again for me. She passive aggressively said yes and made me feel extremely uncomfortable through the rest of the experience. She didn’t speak to me when I left in a polite way she clearly just wanted me out of the building. I think this is totally unacceptable seeing as she didn’t do the job correctly in the first place. It’s now only 2 weeks later and the eyelash tint has faded significantly and I’ll hve to go to get them done again. I’ve never had this problem before and always have my eyelash tints lasting at least 3 weeks before fading.
This salon is in the basement of a clothing boutique. It is compact with two manicure stations and two pedicure stations and treatment rooms but well appointed and tidy, clean, and efficient.
The manicurist was very skilled. She expertly and attentively shaped the nail and pushed back and removed the cuticles gently and with care, rather than through immediate resort to cutting, which appears to be the damaging default at most salons.
The online menu is a bit confusing and could be clarified as the distinction between manicure options is not self evident.
