You have to come through the main leisure centre entrance which wasn't overly welcoming. When I arrived in the spa in the basement there was no-one there though I was a few minutes early but after a few minutes a member of staff came down to meet me and was very pleasant and explained to me exactly what would happen during the treatment. I was made to feel very comfortable as I was told what would happen at each stage. I didn't notice a huge difference with the body exfoliation but it was nicely done. I had asked for a medium pressure massage which was great to start off with though apparently I had lots of knots which were quite painful as the masseuse tried to work them out. I did ache and felt almost bruised for a couple of days but perhaps this is normal for a massage when knots are tackled? The masseuse also gave me advice on aftercare and gave me plenty of time to relax after my treatment so I was very happy with the treatment.

It was very frustrating to get in touch with the venue on the day, as no-one was picking-up the phone all day.
The therapist was nowhere to be seen after the massage so I just left.
It wasn't a good experience this time.

the facial was great and the person that looked after me was really knowledgable, professional and really pleasant and attentive.

Felt more like a Sports massage, But oh my did he get the knots out! probs ask for a women next time because it would be hopefully more relaxing. But can't fault on price!! Fantastic!
