I booked in for a full head of highlights yesterday at 11.30am and paid £60 up front and was supposed to be done by 1pm according to the booking. When I arrived they said they were running late and I never got started until after 12pm. I thought that was bad enough but I never ended up leaving the salon until after 3pm. This was 2 hours later than I was expecting as I was only getting my hair coloured at the roots. In this full time I wasn't even offered a drink of water and as I was running late for plans I had and I was really frustrated with how long I had been in I asked the lady to blast my hair dry and not spend more time than necessary as she had already wasted a bit of time putting a toner on my hair. The worst part was when I eventually got to leave more than 3.5 hours later and was charged for the toner and even charged for the 'blow dry' that I didn't even want as I just wanted out of the place! I was furious as it had wasted most of my Saturday and instead of apologising they charged me more money. The lady told me highlights took a while, she must not have realised that I've been getting them for the last 15 years! The colour has been done poorly and the service was even worse.
