Yesterday I went to have my hair cut at Massimo Giglio and what a treat it was! I had my appointment at 7pm and still at this hour, after the whole day of work, I was warmly welcomed by Massimo as if I was the first customer of the day (which clearly wasn't the case). I don't know how about you, but when I go to a new hair dresser, I always feel apprehensive and bit worried how will the hair look like after the cut and whether it will suit me. And more importantly, how will I look the next day when I style it myself! Well, let me tell you, I was put at easy immediately as Massimo was really listening to what I had to say, he made suggestion what sort of hair cut we can try and throughout the whole process I was involved in shaping the hair style. The final product looked great and scored high on the 'next day my styling' test as the hair just nicely fell in place. So top marks from me and I already booked my next session there!
The salon in slightly hidden in a small alley, but it is well worth finding it! I would highly recommend for anyone to have a go and experience truly personal approach to hair dressing.

Great experience...
Ok, I have to admit I was slightly concerned that having bought a voucher I would be treated differently- not the case at all! Very professional and friendly staff.
Daniela who did my hair was absolutely lovely and attentive and she really took the time to understand what I wanted. She did a perfect job and I was seriously impressed with my highlights. I hadn't had my roots done for a while and she really evened my hair out better than I was expecting.
The only downside is that the customer toilets is outside the actual salon but it was kept very clean. I'd definitely visit again. Thank you.
Very friendly staff. I asked for blonde highlights (to match the colour of my previous colouring) though, and was advised to have a bleach and a darker tone. Overall colour was a lot darker than I'd hoped/asked for, so it still looks like I have roots which I 'm not too happy with. I think the stylist knew it was wrong as she immediately said 'look I made it very natural, next time just get bleach if you want it blonder'.

Perfect experience - Great service, haircut and advice from Massimo. First time at the salon but I shall definitely be back, finally feel like I have found a good London hairdresser! thank you :)
