I visited Massimo Giglio for a cut, blow dry and keratin conditioning treatment. When I arrived at the salon Massimo welcomed me in a warm and friendly manner and sat me down to discuss how I wanted my hair styling. I have very long hair which I have been growing for some time and didn't want to lose too much length. Unlike some hairdressers I have visited, he said this was no problem- he would remove the ends of my hair and create volume by adding some layers. This was exactly what I had wanted!
The wash was good and included a very relaxing scalp massage. The keratin treatment noticeably improved the condition of my hair; it made it softer and gave it a healthy shine. The cut was perfect. I explained to Massimo that I would be attending dinner later that evening and so he took time and effort to give me a great blow-dry which left my hair really voluminous (despite having naturally fine, straight hair).
Massimo is enthusiastic, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable; it's clear that he has a lot of experience in the hairdressing industry. I will be returning to his salon and would certainly recommend it to others!
Massimo was amazing! I absolutely love my haircut and he was so friendly and obviously competent that I trusted him throughout in a way that I never do with new hairdressers.
I was also really impressed with how he listened to me about what I wanted and how I did my hair normally and then he produced a cut that was exactly what I wanted looks wise and also really easy to manage.
Would seriously definitely recommend him! Totally worth the money.
The salon is a small room in Bride Court but well kept and comfy.
I had long hair and wanted quite a short bob, I had brought a couple of pictures of what I wanted but I was seeking professional advice as I have curly hair, rarely straighten it and what I wanted was for straight hair.
The hairdresser, an enthusiastic Italian guy who has trained in Italy, the UK and the US, was helpful. He explained that what I wanted would look awful unless I straighten my hair everyday but that he could do something similar that would look good with curly hair. When he finished I asked him to blow dry it as I don't usually do it myself and to see what it'd look like. I wasn't too sure about the result as it wasn't at all what I originally wanted. But now I've washed my hair and let it dry naturally with the curls, it looks very nice and I'm glad I trusted his judgement.
Ladies' Haircuts
The best hair cut I have had in years! Massimo gave me some very helpful advice and was extremely friendly, really enjoyed my appointment. I will definitely go back and would recommend this offer to a friend.

But, similar to previous reviews, there was a big misunderstanding with the purchase, which I can blame on Wahanda team rather on Massimo Giglio. I purchased Half Head Highlights, cut, blow dry, treatment and scalp massage. Thats what was shown on website when I paid. But turned out my price of 55£ inc only Half Head highlights and treatment. When I came home I rechecked website and truly, when you book for 55£ it shows you will get all the stated services, but when you look closer and kinda explore other price options, you realise Wahanda has stated it wrongly and put all the services under one price tag.
I would give one star to Wahanda about this if I could. I dont want to give Massimo Giglio salon less than 5* because truly I had a fab experience and it would not be fair.
