Overall had a fantastic experience - booked an appointment with Gianmarco as I read so many good things about him - the reviews simply do not do him enough justice! From understanding my hair, listening to what I want, executing it to absolute perfection, to the simplest of things as just the general chat - everything was lovely.
I would definitely 100% be coming back to Mazella And Palmer again!

I never write reviews and I hate to be negative, but I was really, really disappointed with my cut and blow dry form here, after all the good reviews. The hair cut should have taken an hour so I went on my lunch break, I arrived to be told I was having a different hairdresser to the one I'd chosen, and it took 15 mins for her to make me a latte while I was just sat on my own. Nice shampoo and massage, but it was then a verrry slow cut, seemed to take a really long time but not do much? More like someone who wasn't confident what they were doing as opposed to just being careful and accurate. Not what you expect, I had treated myself to a senior stylist! It was then honestly the WORST blow dry I've ever had, so so disappointing in a salon of this price. I was pulled and pushed with a brush dragged across my head over and over again in every direction while she rough dried my hair, only then using a proper drying technique to curve the edges inwards of my short meant-to-be-edgy hair cut, making me look so old fashioned. In the end I was half an hour late back to work, having to basically ask her to hurry along, because it wasn't getting any better. I was embarrassed to walk back out. I wanted an asymmetric short cut, but despite telling her where my parting was she pulled it into a dramatic side parting, which I hate and doesn't suit my face, and she dragged the hair down my face to give the illusion of a gradual asymmetric shape, which disappeared the minute I moved it to actually sit practically on my head. Already had my hair cut in this way so it wasn't a drastic recut I just wanted it shorter after a few months of growth. Absolutely gutted.
