Had a great first experience at MedSpa and a great wax - I have really sensitive skin and quite coarse hair so waxes can be extra painful but Serena was really good and took it all into consideration - such a shame she is leaving just as I found her! She made me feel comfortable and at ease, was very chatty and even though it didn't feel like she was rushing, she got it all done within 30 minutes during my lunch break. Would definitely recommend. No pain afterwards, barely even tender. A great wax!
I can't describe this treatment in any other way than: I feel scammed. They say everywhere 6 inch loss guaranteed in the first treatment. However, they never mention that this 6 inch loss is in total - that would be fine and easy to prove if it wasn't for the fact they "forget" to take your measurements first, and if you ask for that, they will only take measurements in the areas "you want to lose inches", "forgetting" to mention you need to take full measurement if you want to make sure you lost 6 inches. I lost 2 inches in TOTAL, between tights, abdomen and rib cage - in the end I looked at myself and could see no difference whatsoever. When I questioned the therapist about this, she only replied "it's 6 inches in total, but we only measured those areas", so basically I can't prove I didn't lost 6 inches as advertised and that way I cannot complain. On top of this, and as I had booked 3 sessions as recommended, I tried to cancel the 2 following sessions and Treatwell won't give me a refund, just a very expensive "credit note". I honestly feel scammed. Don't fall for this treatment.
Great experience. Serena gave a good massage, focusing on areas I asked her to and applying the right amount of pressure. The facial was also nice and relaxing.I would recommend.
