I had the biotec super charge and a massage. To be honest I was not a fan of spa's, but my wife booked me a birthday present and here I was.
Sharon looked after me and I have to say I will be back next month. My face looks fresh, as if I've been on a holiday. My back is finally free of niggling pain.
These guys are really good, friendly and local.
I was a little let down by this. My friend and I booked a spa package that included 3 treatments each, but when I called up I was told that there was only one practitioner there, so we would have to have our treatments one after the other. I asked if we would have full access to the spa facilities while the other person was being treated and they assured us that we would. Not a massive problem, but it wasn't made clear during the booking process and it wasn't what we had originally wanted.
When we got there we were given complementary juices from the juice bar, which was nice. The staff were friendly and the practitioner was lovely, although there was a real language barrier; we asked the same questions a few different times because she didn't seem to understand us.
The facilities are a let-down. We went expecting access to a spa, as in a relaxing area with a pool, a nice sauna etc. What was there was a room with two chairs and some showers, then a sauna and steam room. It wasn't very relaxing and the place itself looked pretty grotty. It didn't seem overly clean, either. I can now understand why there were no photos of the 'spa' on the company's website or social media pages.
That said, the treatments were very nice; the body scrub was great and the massage and facial were both very relaxing.
Overall, the treatments were good but I wouldn't go back here based on the facilities available; for £150 for a spa package, you'd be better off going to the Anatheum or a similar luxury hotel where the spa itself is nicer.
