We were a little disappointed in the organisation as we had our appointment booked for 1:45 but nobody even looked at either of our hair until around 3:00. The stylists were really friendly and they did a good job however the waiting around was a bit too long as they then had to rush the treatments.
This was my second visit to the training school. This time I was seated upstairs - there were no blinds so the sun was shining right into my eyes and it was really warm! I wasn't offered a drink for a few hours so was quite thirsty too.
I don't recall anyone checking up on the student doing my hair (I was there for over 3 hours). I had highlights, but was left with quite large roots and the highlights aren't blended (there was no backcombing at the root, so the highlights appear quite stripey and it looks like I've had a few months' regrowth already).
I didn't have a blow dry either, as I had been there for quite a while and it was cutting into the poor girl's lunch hour, so I said we were okay to skip the cut and blow dry.
Overall, I am happy my hair is lighter and you can't knock the price, however it was not as smooth as my first visit (sat downstairs, drink offered, students acted more professionally and the highlights weren't as choppy) and I will need to try and blend the highlights into my roots with an at-home kit and use some toner as the blonde at the top of my head is much whiter/yellower than that through the lengths of my hair.
