Not a great experience. I get a lot of blow-drys (at least one a week), and I have never experienced anything
The guy made blow-drying my hair the most over-the-top, complicated experience. I told him very clearly what I wanted (smooth all over with some movemenet in the end, and not too curly or bouncy). I have hair that blow-drys very easily, but I really felt like the stylist had very little experience.
His brush skills were appalling (he poked me constantly), and he pinned my hair in rolls (!). I kept asking him what he was doing - and that I just wanted a simple all over smooth dry, but he told me it would be fine at the end, and to trust him.
I was the only person in the salon and the young girl on reception stared at me constantly, it was very odd. Absolutely zero atmosphere, despite it being in a very busy and vibrant area. I realise in hindsight that speaks volumes!
I gently fedback through the dry that he was doing it differently to how I wanted, but he insisted that it would be ok. But at the end I was left with huge curls, very bouncy -basically not a 'blow-dry" but some awful Kardashian hybrid 'do. Exactly what I told him I didn't want.
What's worse, I realised after I left that my hair was still damp underneath. I was so annoyed.
It normally takes 30 mins to blow-dry my hair, but this whole experience took an hour. Awful.
Not a good experience. Avoid this salon.
