the lady who does the treatment is so so nice, has such a cute smile on her always smiling, so nice BUT... the lady at the counter is so so intimidating, shes got to smile!!!!!!!!!! she looks so scARY.. straight face all the time, shes pretty, now she gotta smile to show some glow to her face

I arrived for my booking (laser hair removal on lip and chin) and the receptionist told me that I would only be able to have a patch test as it was my first appointment - but that they had decided not to call and tell me because they didn't have anything sooner. It would have been good to know this in advance.
Then when I filled out the forms and handed them to the woman, who told me I couldn't have the treatment at all, because I get cold sores on my mouth.
I've never heard of this, there was no warning when I made the booking, and when I researched afterwards I found no evidence that it's not possible to treat a person with the cold sore virus, unless there's an active outbreak. Two other clinics I contacted are happy to treat me, so I will be going to one of those instead - and I can only hope I get my money back from this booking.
On the plus side, the place looked clean and nice enough from the reception area, although the receptionist was a bit brusque.
