Set in a very nice ex-hotel building close to the station this is a little escape and worth a visit. Had a very relaxing massage and facial and felt totally at ease with Monique. Will be returning soon when next in the area!
An absolutely beautiful room to completely relax in, I just about fell asleep during both the massage and the facial! Monique is lovely, showing interesting by asking a few questions, but not too many! The summer fruits facial left my skin lovely and soft, and the massage was perfect - wanted it to be longer! Would definitely return.
Excellent value massage and facial. Fresh fruit mask smelled yummy enough to eat. The therapist was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only hitch with the venue is that the room is in what seems to be an office block so I didn't feel relaxed in a Spa-like way.
Appointments are best made by text as Monique is a one woman operation.
The 'salon' is easy to find but strangely in converted hotel where all the rooms have been turned into offices which is a bit odd walking through.
Another oddity was the lack of running water in the room, which meant that the therapist has to leave the room frequently to get more water. This felt a bit odd, half-naked with eyes covered and surrounded by other offices.
Monique started off with the back and shoulder massage, which was nice and relaxing if a little too gentle for my liking.
The facial was good but the famed Summer Fruits Mask just seemed to be a strawberry and raspberry yoghurt. Monique makes all her own products, which may be a good thing but to be honest, the whole experience made very little difference to my skin or complexion.
Considering I did not pay the original amount (bought on a wahanda deal), I think it was excellent. Especially when the salon is in Knightsbridge as well. The facial was enjoyable and the back massage was also good. High recommand!!
