Fantastic facilities, wonderful treatments, pleasant staff. The only thing that let it down was the lunch. After specifying a few of us where gluten and dairy intolerant, we were given a fairly unpalatable gluten-free roll and told what we couldn’t eat from the buffet (which was quite a lot). No effort was made to provide anything alternative, which in a hotel of that size was rather disappointing.
Lovely relaxing day. The light lunch was good and better than I was expecting. Loved the outside area although the Brechelbath® and Stonebath® warm rooms didn't feel that warm so we went inside to the sauna and steam rooms. During the week the pool area is open to children at certain times, I would have preferred the area to be adults only.
There was so much potential for an amazing experience (lovely treatments, lovely staff and lovely facilities) however it was so crowded. We found out there was almost 30 people booked on as Hen parties as well as day guests like ourselves and general members. We struggled to be able to use some of the facilities because they were so full and managed to grab one lounger by the pool at the very end of our day (there was three of us). The lunch was nice and healthy but for the price we would have expected a lot more. Generally disappointed although there is a lot of potential.
Lovely relaxing day. Spa facilities were amazing. Would definitely return in the future and maybe include an overnight stay.
