The spa and the facilities are lovely - me and my 2 friends had a super relaxing day.
we did find a few things that were disappointing , upon arrival approx 10.30am we were told the lockers were complimentary however no locker keys were available so we were offered to leave valuables behind reception or to wait - we decided to wait for over 10 minutes not really what you'd expect from a spa ( other people were waiting much longer ) the female changing facilities are very small and do not offer much comfort in getting changed at such close proximity to other people and there is only 3/4 showers
had a great day and would definitely return

The therapists we had were absolutely lovely and excellent! The whole day was really nice, however we both felt it could've been better organised, which other guests also agreed, especially the lunch which took a long time to arrive and a lot of prompting the waitresses. One downside was the changing rooms, which were really messy and generally not clean enough, which I definitely would not expect of a spa. Overall though a great day, but organisation and cleanliness needs to be worked on!
The treatments we had were lovely, really professional and the ladies who did them were wonderful. However this was then ruined by the lack of service in the dining area. We had booked for afternoon tea yet we had to explain this to the staff members three times before she understood. She insisted that we had to have a light lunch until I provided her with the email of afternoon tea received from Mottram hall. We asked for tea and that was delivered without milk, we asked for milk and it never came throughout the whole hour we were sat there. Furthermore one lady had only started that week and didn't know what she was doing, I appreciate she will be in early stages of her training but to be left to serve us all on her own with only one other lady was pretty poor. As we left the lady on reception didn't ask how our visit was or if we enjoyed herself just a "have you given your locker wristband in". Overall this ruined the otherwise good experience.
