It took a lot of booking in the first place as the spa reception never answered the phone or returned calls but I got through eventually.
A list of treatments available would have been useful.
Lovely treatments, Lovely lunch, Lovely pool and great facilities, The outdoor Jacuzzi is fantastic, Nice clean changing rooms.

A lovely spacious spa, set in a lovely hotel country club set in Cheshire. Great staff. Relatively quiet. Treatments great. Only issue was getting hold of spa before the day to book in treatments despite phoning and emailing multiple times.
I booked a spa day as a treat for my sister's 50th. When we arrived the staff seemed a bit flustered, not the calm booking in that we had experienced at other spa's. The facilities were really clean and when we arrived it was very quiet so we had the small changing rooms to ourselves, we were very surprised how many lockers there were for a very very small changing area. We loved the swimming pool and the outdoor steam rooms however there were no cushions on the outside chairs, they only seemed to be put out late afternoon which was disappointing. The spa treatment although 1/ 2 late was great and then we headed up to have lunch. The service at the restaurant was very very poor, I was really embarrassed that this was meant to be a treat for my sister but we were hardly acknowledged by the initial person on the door and then our waitress, both of which did not have a good grasp of the english language. We waited 5 minutes for anyone to come over to our table, we were seated right in between two other parties (the rest of the restaurant was empty!) For lunch she brought over two bowls of soup and placed them in the middle of the table - we were not even told what the soup was and the light lunch was just a bread roll, salad and pate. We had to ask for drinks!! The service was really appalling. Such a shame as your facilities are good but let down by staff that seem a bit overstretched. I have a special birthday this month and we would have returned for that but I think we will try somewhere else next time.
From arrival to departure staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Treatments were explained, benefit of products used explained. Afternoon tea was delightful. Only small annoyance not enough drinking water fCilities around the spa itself, no cups at fountain near sauna and the stand was empty all day. Also I. Rest room would prefer drinking glasses to paper cones. Otherwise a PERFECT DAY!!
