No consultation prior to facial, no medical history no skin type discussion. Massage was horrendous, no change in depth of pressure, no selection of oils
Wet towels left on most of beds around pool, outdoor spa tub out of order
Having arrived at 10 for a special say we were first asked to pay which i had already done - went to the pool area and no seats - most had towels reserving them - there were lots of chikdren in the pool as well so when we found somewhere to sit on the side of the jacuzzi we could hardly relax - the jacuzzi has that much bleach in our eyes were watering and there was a bleach foam on top - the outside jacuzzi wasnt working and hasnt been for quite a while and outside was dirty - the two outside saunas were not as advertised either. Apparently three members of the spa staff were not in mmmm same excuse given to my friend in september - overall what was meant to be a relaxing day wasnt - you dont pay all this money not to be able to relax by the pool or have a swim - the website indicates that children are nit permitted between 10 and 5 but no one policed this - babies and young children should not be allowed in when paying people have paid for the spa - no water available unless you ask at reception or in the spa, fixtures in the pool area unsafe as well - gleneagles is no dearer yet the facilities are second to none in the spa - wont be going back - very disappointed
Love mottram hall spa, it was just a shame the outdoor hot tub was closed.
Lovely spa day, good facilities. Treatment could have been more relaxing if lights were dimmed and there was music playing.
