I had a my hair done with Kerry at Movida. Having recently moved to Newcastle from London, this was my first salon and hair treatment in thw area, so I was naturally nervous, plus I had very long silky hair and this was my first cut in a long time so was apprehensive to try a new place. I have to say, I was put at ease from the moment I arrived. Kerry was very helpful and attentive to my worries in regards to my recent hair loss. I am very happy with thw result and will definitely return!

I visited the salon with my daughter yesterday and the experience was not great. I’m not someone who complains and especially not during these times as I understand everyone is under pressure however the hairdresser who cut my daughters hair made no attempt to make conversation with us during the service which felt very awkward. I booked in for a wash and blow dry but she only wet my daughters hair at the sink and did not use shampoo or conditioner. The lady who took payment was lovely.
The stylist carefully listened to how I wanted my hair to look like and executed the cut perfectly.
