A DISASTER!
I came here a couple of months ago and had a lovely therapist ( I think her name was Agassi) but what a huge disappointment this appointment was.
I booked a 1h Swedish massage as a birthday treat for myself, when I came the receptionist asked me if I had any problem areas- I told her no, I would like a normal full body massage. She informed me that a new Asian lady would massage me today. Her English was not great but I assumed that she would speak basic English so it should be fine.
She started with me on my stomach, as a normal massage- her technique was not great but as I didn’t have a specific problem I didn’t mind that much UNTIL she started to massage me with PAPER Towels after she applied the oil. Who does that?
Then she asked me to turn around and started to massage my head, I found it strange as the therapist normally start with feet/legs and work themselves up, but I assumed she had a “special” technique. After kneeling my head for 5 minutes ( she barely even touched my shoulders) she said “1 hour done”. What??!! Who massages only the back of the body?! I’ve been getting massages for over 20 years in many many countries and have never encountered this. What kind of “full body” massage is this?!!!!!
I walked out and told the receptionist of my experience, she was lovely and understanding but then the manager came...
When I was trying to explain what happened, the therapist runs out shouting in Chinese - me and the receptionist are looking shocked on while the manager tries to calm her down. The manager was trying to dismiss me, but thankfully the receptionist jumped in and explained. She offered me a free 30 min massage, but after her attitude and the aggressive outburst from the therapist I declined. I told her that I wasn’t looking for a refund but that I had to inform her of her horrible new employee. I live 10 doers from the massage place and was planning to come regularly, but NEVER again. To be honest, this put me off massages all together. What a ripoff!

the lady I had was amazing, I told her I had issue with my neck and right shoulder and she made sure she focused on that area more and come away feeling so much more at ease! really lovely too.
