Loved the experience, particularly the fact that the therapist spotted immediately that the facial I'd booked wouldn't have suited my skin so did a different one instead. Not pushy to sell products (although I did) and the whole thing was very relaxing. I'd certainly recommend it and will be booking in another one in a few weeks.
I didn't know the Beauty Room existed in House of Fraser until Murad joined Wahanda. I've tried a few products before and knew their reputation for being results driven, but hadn't actually tried a full Murad facial. The experience was great from start to finish. I was greeted at the Beauty Counter, asked to fill out a questionnaire and taken down to the Beauty Room by my therapist, Natasha. The facial was great - Natasha assessed my skin and tailored the products and the treatment to my needs. She included a glycolic peel (my first) which is designed to renew the skin. I was anxious it would be a Sex & The City Samantha-type peel, but it was nothing like! Just a mild tingling for a few moments. While this is a results focused facial, that's not to say it wasn't relaxing. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and cosy, and I was treated to a lovely arm and hand massage during the treatment. I've been given some product recommendations (which I will be taking up if my skin continues to look as fresh as it does the day after the facial!) and a suggestion for a City Facial in 4 weeks. If you're looking for a great facial from a brand and therapists who clearly know their stuff, in a great central London location, definitely try out a Murad facial.
