I had an ok experience at Lisa Sheperd - nothing stood out as particularly amazing, but there was certainly nothing bad. My stylist was lovely, and did exactly what I asked for, but the salon lacked a certain 'buzz'. I also had to wait nearly 20 minutes for my appointment, which was a little annoying. The Wahanda deal was an absolute bargain, but not sure I'd go back and pay full price – which I have done before after other Mob deals.
This is the best salon I've been to for overall satisfaction. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and shown to the waiting area, which is brilliant. Apple Macs are available to check email, etc, drinks are in the fridge which you can help yourself to, tea, coffee, biscuits, newspapers and magazines are also available. As I'm not used to these kind of facilities I was too shy to help myself to a glass of wine, so had a coffee instead, but I did check my email and enjoyed the short wait before I was taken over to talk to my stylist. The stylist and the girl who washed my hair were very friendly, and although I was only having a bit of a trim i was happy with the cut and finish, and the overall experience really cheered me up!!
This was my first visit to Lisa Shepherd. It was a bit difficult to get teh appointments though , it after 1 long month for a weekend. After i got there my hair stylist Luke was free so he took me in before time. The head wash was really good, the treatment was short though, but hopefully the repair system did some good. I would say Luke did a good job on my hait cut, discussed with me about the styling and kept the layers nice and easy. I did think the blow dry curls just stayed for 1 day where in previous it stayed for almost 4-5 days. Also one thing , I had to ask for the drink, not offered but when i got the rose wine, it was good.
Despite it taking AGES to get an appointment (I bought this in July), in the end I had a really nice haircut here. The guy who cut my hair (Lee I think) was really friendly and chatty and seemed to know what he was talking about! A good experience in all and I would go back.
I was about 15 minutes late in arriving to Lisa Shepherd, so they changed my stylist. They told me it would be a few minutes and showed me to the lounge area. After several reminders, two stylist switches (finally, back to my original one), and over 30 minutes of waiting, I finally was shown to a chair. The place was very busy and that was at 3pm in the afternoon! After that disappointing start, I did have a nice wash and condition, and the haircut turned out well. The blowdry was decent, though probably mediocre, but I suppose there wasn't much time to put that much effort into it. The next customer was probably waiting! Nevertheless the blowdry did show off the nice, lifting cut that was done by Leigh, the stylist. The best part was that he gave me a card with a discount off on the next haircut as an apology for the late start. Nice touch. I might go back.
