I was impressed with the set up at Lisa Shepherd. They have an area where people can relax whilst having their treatments, with 2 apple computers and self-service drinks. I found the staff friendly and I go the cut that I was looking for.
I've used Lisa Shepherd before, but not for the Brazilian Blow Dry. The facilities are very good there. They have a separate refreshments area with hot and cold drinks to which you can help yourself, as well as some Macbooks to while away the time whilst you are waiting before or during your visit. The staff are very attentive and friendly and I've found the service to be good there. Two people worked on straightening my hair for the Brazilian Blow Dry, as it is long. It meant that I was able to leave the salon quicker. Definitely good value with the Wahanda offer.
Really lovely salon, not very big but great atmosphere. Excellent customer service from start of visit, with relaxing coffee area/wifi while you wait for your appointment, brilliant as I was very early!
Haircut was excellent, I have v long, thick hair and am very picky. Hairdresser really listened to my requests and was very knowledgeable about how much to take off for the split ends to be remedied without losing too much length.
Overall very happy, will definitely go back (even without the great wahanda discount!)
Was a very nice and inviting environment. The stylist took time to give me the best cut on my hair.
Lots of refreshments were on offer and overall a nice experience. Would definitley book again.
I'm really disappointed to have to give such a bad review of LIsa Shepherd London as I was expecting much better. I had a cut, conditioning treatment and blow dry.
Firstly, I had to book my appointment way in advance (2 months) as the salon didn't have any available slots. Luckily I could go during the day but the salon was virtually empty when I was there.
I was kept waiting 20 mins until my appointment and not once did one of the staff, come over to apologise for the delay. I don't mind waiting as long as I've been acknowledged! The facilities however, were excellent - self service tea/coffee/wine/beer/soft drinks and nibbles and muffins/croissants etc on the table.
My stylist was Lee. He was very sweet but didn't really say very much and the haircut seemed to take a long time - which would be ok if it was successful! I have long hair and had a grown out fringe which I asked to be cut back in. The lengths of the hair were cut really well but the fringe is too short, wonky and hasn't been blended into the hair properly. After explaining for about 10 minutes exactly what I was looking for I gave up and asked if there was a manager who could come and complete the haircut. I even suggested that Lee get me a magazine so I could show him what I wanted but he refused which is when I asked if there was somebody else who could finish the cut for me. The chap that came and finished the cut didn't introduce himself or apologise - in fact I was left apologising for causing a fuss! He managed to tidy up some of the damage but I'm still not 100% happy with the cut.
The conditioning treatment has left my hair shiny but with a greasy film on it. My hair is probably not corse enough to have taken this treatment which makes me think that it's not a hair specific treatment.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this salon to any of my friends or Wahanda customers. Unless you have a really simple request of a quick trim, I would look elsewhere.
Highly disappointing experience.
