Luke who cut my hair was extremely friendly and courteous. Their facilities were very good - you could help yourself to drinks in the fridge or make yourself a latte, hot chocolate or tea. Plus there was a computer that you could use which was handy for my sister as she wanted to check her work e-mails and doesn't believe in having a blackberry. The only thing that wasn't included was the free glass of wine - we weren't offered one either. Otherwise a good experience.
The ambience here was grown up which was a relief, with no sense of trying too hard to be cool. It's in a good location and easy to get to. The staff were helpful without being over-familiar, and thankfully, there was no blaring music. I'm always nervous about trying out new places and this was no exception. However, my stylist, Lee, was great and I was very happy with the cut. I would defintely go back.
great salon, very customer friendly. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The treatment worked well and although it takes quite a bit of time, there were plent of magazines, tea and coffee to help the time go by.
When I phoned to book the appointment I could not make book the appoointment for the following week as I wanted. I was told they were fully booked until 30th August. I told the caller that I could not make 30th August as it was the day I would be travelling. She then booked 26th August, which I accepted but I would have prefered to have my hair cut at the beginning of August. On Friday 26th I arrived there earlier than the appointed hour and I was seen immediately. They were courteurs and the hairdresse, Luke was a good professional and cut my hair the way I wanted. I would go back there again.
the atmosphere of the salon was fresh, funky and modern. My stylist was nice and listened to what I wanted. However, the whole experience felt rushed. I didn't get my deep conditioning treatment or a glass of wine. The haircut was pretty good but not completely even. I had to tweak it myself at home. I think that they slightly looked down on customers with vouchers. Still it was ok for the price.
