I can not praise this salon enough! I had to change my appointment at the last minute and it wasn't a problem at all. A good welcome and then .... a fantastic stylist! Luke listened to what I wanted, (a fringe!) and came back with some good suggestions and the end result was exactly what I had wanted/ hoped for! Will be going back and recommending to friends. Great salon.
Full head of highlights When I arrived it was during the snow which caused travel complications for some. The guy told me that he had originally had the evening off and wasn't meant to be working, but his staff all hadn't been able to get in (or were pretending they couldn't get in). This made me feel bad for having ruined his evening, he really didn't seem chuffed to be there, so I felt the need to be apologetic that I was there inconveniencing him. Not a great vibe. I made the mistake of going after work, and I suspect this had an impact on the results I recieved as the colour felt a bit rushed and the results weren't quite what I was hoping for. I had trawled the internet looking for a FULL head of highlights which was really needed. I will say that the colour on the top layers of my hair looked really good, but I don't think he took the time to put much colour underneath so I was left with sheets of dark hair and really clear lines where my older highlights had grown out. It looked pretty ridiculous if I tilted my hair to one side or tried to tie it up, and I would have expected this to have been evened out when paying for a full head. Whether this was because he was in a rush at the end of the day, or because he had wanted to be somewhere else, or because I was on a 'voucher' I'll never know. Ambeince? Ok. By the end I was the only person sitting in the whole salon which was a bit uncomfortable- the 2 members of staff had both gone elsewhere as I sat and waited for the colour at the sinks. Before treatment, they have a laptop for you to use whilst waiting, which was good, and massage-chairs at the sinks, which are great. They also have a fab smeg fridge. And cold drinks and a coffee machine. But I wouldn't go back to look at the fridge. So if you want a half head, then it'll probably be a good colour. I wouldn't recommend anyone go for the full head though, which is a shame because the colour itself was nice- if only they had done a bit more of it.
The service was great and i was happy with the cut and finish and the offer was excellent value for money. I would recommend this salon to friends looking for a hairdressers salon in this part of London.
Very friendly and professional staff. The location very convenient and centrally located (close to Oxford street). The salon itself was very nicely equipped and they offered a hole range of refreshments to all its customers. I will definitely visit again.
Went to Lisa Shepherd for a haircut and conditioning treatment with the Wahanda mobdeal. Very good value deal and I was pleased with the haircut. I got the sense this was more a place for colouring (they are specialist and lots of people were having their hair coloured when i was there!) but hair cut was fine. Nice place in a central location. Would recommend.
