Upon arrival the receptionist was lovely and I loved the look of the place, very intimate and snazzy! The hair therapist took a look at my hair and it seems when you mention the word wahanda deal it's a bit of a less valued customer thing...maybe it was me but after the consultation I went to get my hair washed in the most amazing chair that was warm and massages you while you get you hair washed. Shame I can't say the same for the girl who washed my hair (0 stars). Not sure if she thought I was going to kill her first born or if she wasn't use to washing hair...I felt more tense after the 'head massage' before going back to the therapist. He was really nice and easy to chat too and really put the effort into getting a lovely finish so I give him a 5 star! My hair was really soft for 2 days after that but to be honest a semi-brazillian blow dry wasn't worth it. I get the same results from my usual hair products. Looks like a top place to get your hair dyed though, will be taking my mum as long as that guy does her hair! :)
nice place, easy to find. Staff were very friendly and explained how the blow dry worked. I would of like the experience to have lasted longer then what it did (40 mins). Which was a shame as it was all over too quickly. I am not sure if it has worked until after i have washed my hair !
I got the mini brazilian blow dry as a friend had treated me to it. The salon is great, they have a waiting area where you can use their laptops and have access to the internet. Along with taking advantage of their mini bar! My stylist was extremely helpful and gave me lots of tips. I'm happy with the end result and was told it will last for approx a week as it's just a taster. I would definitely visit again to get a haircut next time.
I went for the 50% off Permanent Hair Colour and Gloss with a Colour Director, which was £40 which is very good value. Very nice modern venue and very friendly staff and good service. I had a consultation with the hairdresser before my hair colouring treatment. I initially booked to get a permanent colour but after talking to her she suggested a semi permanent as the result would be shinier and glossier hair colour, and still would last for 6 weeks. So I went with that and the result was shiny and glossy as she said, but the colour was slightly more red than I wanted and hence the 4 stars and not 5. After a few washes I got the desired colour.
Definitely a brilliant offer - the service was excellent, the facilities are great which makes the visit a very relaxing experience. Very pleased with the haircut and blow dry. Nothing negative to say at all, so I will go there again!
