I have long curly hair and most hairdressers spend time ruffling it with their fingers and completely ruining my curls. Tom at Lisa Shepherd new all the tricks for curly hair. He had time, actually discussed the cut with me - this hasn't happened for ages - and spent time arranging my curls so I left happy. So happy I was instantly recommending him to others with long curly hair. He gave me advice on how to get the colour I want and I'l definitely go back to him. Totally recommended.
Overall I had a good experience, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I loved the colour and it has given me a whole new look, also went back for a second visit to get my hair cut.
To be honest i was expecting a great result for my £35 highlights, but i'm really pleased with the results.
Although i have to say, i definately wouldn't fork out the full price of £200+.....way to expensive for me!
The staff were lovely, very attentive...
Given the full price of my colour treatment was £215, I was really disappinted with the results, even only paying a fraction of that.
While the receptionist & Colourist were friendly & pleasant, the reputation of these colour-gurus didn't translate into a good end result.
My 10 foils and gloss, looked like chunky-bleach stripes and not much else. The roots have grown out badly, with very obvious root-line (a real no no) Really nothing special that i couldnt get from any salon with bleach and balsam conditioner. With a name famous for colour, its a real shame.
They had clearly thought a lot about the salon interior and had a great refreshment & waiting area. but, at the end of the day its down to the talent of the your Colourist.
I would bother making the effort to go there again.
I went there today for a colour and highlights and - apart from the great location - the service has been great, good advices, friendly staff and good scalp massage. Would recommend to anybody!
