An amazing salon, very relaxing and friendly but I felt a little rushed throught the cut and blow despite the fact there was only one other customer in the salon.
Had I paid full price for less than 30 minutes, I would have felt it very poor value.
I bought a £20 mobdeal for a haircut & blowdry and was very very impressed with everything about Lisa Shepherd London. Upon arrival I was escorted to the waiting area and offered a selection of drinks, the use of one of four laptops to browse the net, a choice of all the recent magazines and a tv to watch. My hairdresser was Reena and she did a wonderful hairwash (with a great massage) and my cut and blowdry was perfect. No straighteners were used, but my hair was totally straight and shiny - the sign of a great blowdry. I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend this salon to everyone.
Excellent value and nicely quiet for a Friday evening. The salon was very clean and tidy and modern and care was taken of me by Tom my stylist. The only negative was cold water for the hair washing, the girl who washed my hair tried to improve the temp but could not really. I left with hair in a better condition and my friend loved it.
I had a wonderful experience at Lisa Shepard. As soon as I walked in the door, all staff were very friendly and professional. The salon was really modern as well and had a really relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. I was offered a drink straight away and then met by my stylist, Reena, who introduced herself and even shook my hand. She spent a long time looking at my hair and discussing with me what I would like to have done and also offered some suggestions in a really helpful manner. I was then taken to the sinks for a wash and the young man who washed my hair and massaged my scalp was very polite and did a wonderful, relaxing job. The seats at the wash basins also massage your back and lift you legs in the air for the ultimate experience with no neck cramping to reach the basin. I was then taken back to Reena, who styled my hair exactly as we discussed. She did a wonderful job, as well as being really friendly and open, and helpful with talking about my hair. I was so so so happy with the result, it was definitely the best style I have had in a long time, and it think it looks just wonderful. And apart from the beautiful style, I was really happy with my whole experience at Lisa Shepard, I couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. I very highly recommend Lisa Shepard and Reena as a stylist and I will definitely go back myself.
I guess I caught the salon on a bad day as I was thoroughly disappointed in my experience at Lisa Shepherd. I was on time and kept waiting, in the nice waiting area, for quite a while. It was only after about 10 mins I was offered a drink (there was only 1 other customer in the salon, so the multitude of staff weren't stretched). The stylist was thoroughly uninterested when talking about what I wanted and when I was asking for advice on styles. I didn't get the hair treatment included in the mob deal. The way my fringe was cut initially was so bad I started crying, then the stylist got the hump with me when I asked for it to be softened. It's not even 6 weeks yet since my appointment and I've already made one somewhere else to fix it as the cut looks so bad now; and I'll be happy to pay more than double the price as I know I'll be happy with the cut. wouldn't recommend.
