The salon is in a great location, and very modern. The staff are friendly, but i felt that my appointment was rushed, the hairdresser didn't seem to want to be dealing with me (i think because I was on a mobdeal) but also because I was asking her questions about my hair. Overall the salon is nice, well decorated, but the service did little to encourage my return. The cut itself was ok, but nothing spectacular.
I've been a loyal customer at one London salon for three years, but having seen the 50% off deal at Lisa Shepherd London, I decided on a whim to let someone else cut my hair. I wasn't disappointed. On arrival, I was shown to the 'chill out' area and invited to help myself from a very well stocked fridge of juices, cans of pop and chocolate while I waited. To be honest, I'm easily swayed and the salon had won my heart with just the chocolate! But then, there was also a Macbook available to check my email or just browse the internet whilst I waited...and not a dog-earred copy of More! in sight. I suppose any old salon could do these things but any old salon doesn't seem to. On to the highlights and hair cut experience. Sara coloured my hair. She was attentive and chatty, listened to my gripes about my current hair colour (yellow) and came up with a new and lovely shade of blonde which really suits me and looks one hundred times more natural than what I had before. Jason then cut my hair. He was quite quiet (but then I think I prefer that) but gave me some great advice about dealing with my dry hair and an exceptionally good haircut. Special mention must also go to the hair-washing stations - they were so comfortable and the massaging chair so wierdly relaxing, I nearly fell asleep! Anyway, I've already booked my next appointment at Lisa Shepherd. My old salon just doesn't cut it anymore.
Lovely salon. The staff were great and really friendly. Hairdresser asked what I wanted and because I asked for some suggestions, I was given some. Very happy with my cut and blowdry and will go back again for sure.
Was very please with the reception, the girl who welcomed me was very pleasant and friendly. The salon looks very nice, has many facilities (while you wait-was a bit early). The hairdresser was very nice, she didn't talk too much (like some do and I don't like that). Overall, it was a very nice experience.
This salon is not far from where I work so I was excited when Wahanda advertised a super-duper Mobdeal for a cut, treatment and glass of wine for £20. In London, that's a total bargain. I headed along after work, impressed that they are open till 9pm! I was offered my glass of wine and a choice of magazines to read while I waited which wasn't long to be honest (I noticed they also have free ice creams for customers too). My stylist Reena was really friendly and I explained that I hadn't been too happy with the haircut I had at a different salon. She worked out the reason why, the previous stylist had put too much texture in and thinned the hair out too much. We both decided that this time she'd concentrate more on the ends and leave the texture as it was for now to allow it time to even out. I relaxed in a massaging chair while getting my head massaged - always amazing! Then Reena got on with the cut, doing a great job and asking exactly how I liked my fringe too. I was really pleased with the results and walked out of there swishing my hair. I'd definitely consider going back.
