Used my Wahanda voucher for a haircut and blowdry. The premises are really nice and the staff are super welcoming. The stylist who cut my hair happened to be the salon director, and my goodness did he do an amazing job. I thought that my hair, having previously been butchered into shapelessness, would not be easy to deal with. He wizzed around my head like I've never seen anything like it before, with such determination and conviction, I almost got a little worried at the speed he was working at. But the results speak for themselves, I felt like Cinderella was ready for the ball now! It really was more than my money was worth. I will go back there, maybe once a year, as otherwise it's a little to expensive for me. But he was just so good! It was a great experience.
It felt like being a celeb for the day Jason my stylist was so attentive. He paid special attention to my scalp which is very dry. I left feeling so classy and sexy, Jason, advised me on the best style for my thick curls, unlike alot of salons that try and straighten them. I will be going again
The staff were very attentive and helpful. The salon has a young and fun atmosphere but not at the expense of its professionalism. I am not 100% pleased with my haircut but I think that may due to my brief and not the stylist.
I visited Lisa Sheppard London on a Saturday. I had the £20 for a haircut and glass of wine offer. Certainly the £20 for a haircut deal from an apparently prestigious salon drew me, although I am always a bit apprehensive about having a haircut under the influence of alcohol, or rather any salon that offers the opportunity to. I was pleased to find the venue in a nice little street tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, but close enough to Oxford Circus station. When I arrived, I was shown to a waiting area, where i waited for about five-ten minutes before being offered a drink. No one offered to take my jacket, so when being shown to the hair station, I struggled with bag, coat and water, until i had to ask if they had somewhere to put my coat. It wasn't busy at all, I was surprised to see, but then again as i was told later, their usual clients are office workers, so Saturdays are quite quiet. Still, for a salon that was not so busy, I found the staff quite nonchalent about their only client! Anyway, Jason cut my hair, who was very down to earth and pleasant. Though I found the cut was pretty bog-standard for curly hair like mine, and certainly wasn't what I had hoped for (I had asked for a 'fresh change'). Still, for the £20 offer I think you cannot expect too much and at least my hair was not ruined! A pleasant experience overall, though I was not offered a glass of wine at any point....
lovely ambience, and really trendy interior. Hairdresser was very sweet. Actual haircut was ok, however i did not leave feeling like wow i have an amazing haircut, i think it was the style my fringe was done in that disappointed me.
