I went to the salon last friday and as I had phoned and emailed my voucher ahead:all I was looking forward to involved sorting out my unruly mane, I passed on the wine as I don't want to agree to anything that would haunt me for a while. The lovely Rena was my stylist and for once someone listened to my exact specifications and improved on it: -keep the length(long hair) but create a manageable cut with thick, tendance to frizz hair. She told me about the brazilian blow dry and the result on her(not now) curly hair spoke volume. She also recommended a new haircare range by Shu Umemura and most of the times I sense I'm being coerced into buying more but here I got a sample of the shampoo and treatmemt and a voucher for my next treatment...I'm going back! I'm generally wary of hairdressers and salon but found the right person to look after my locks and have a giggle. really a pleasant surprise Next time I'll let you know about that blow dry and if I get really rich"How I treated myself to some seriously posh shampoo and all" M
I went there on the day when I got my Wahanda voucher. I was greeted at the reception and offered a choice of drinks. Then my stylist came to pick me up. She was absolutely brilliant. She told me that most of the staff in the salon used to work at Selfridges Hair Salon. We discussed what she was going to do with my hair and I went to have a shampoo and some hair treatment that was included in the deal. Enjoyed the huge massage armchair that went completely flat while I was having my head massage, shampoo and treatment. My stylist did an amazing job and I thank her for that. Few weeks later, my hair looks very shiny, healthy and fresh. Highly recommend to everyone!!!
Was worth the money - nice looking salon and nice furnishings, facilities etc. Not many people there when I went though so no real buzz but it definitely has potential when the word spreads. Also my hair was cut very quickly. BUT it was cut nicely (not too drastic) so for £20 I can't complain and will probably go back if they have more offers!
This was my first Wahanda experience and it didn't start well - they phoned to cancel my appointment! I got myself rebooked for a couple of days later and this time all went well. Friendly receptionist got my my glass of wine - though it wasn't very cold - and introduced my stylist, who then introduced me to the lady who washed my hair and gave me a hair treatment and head massage. They have massage chairs too, which gave me a surprise. Her touch was a little too firm for my taste but it was free so what's to complain about! My stylist was friendly and informative. The salon was quiet. My appointment took around an hour, all in. It was a bargain compared with what I'd normally pay. Trouble is, Wahanda, you've spoiled me - I might have rebooked with the salon but I want to see what other great offers you have in store!
Very modern clean and luxurious salon. Friendly staff and really felt like I was being well looked after and pampered! Therapist seemed very young but she did a good job of the cut and dried and styled it really well. Will definitely be using the salon again. Thanks!
