I loved the relaxed atmosphere in the waiting area where I was given a laptop to use, access to a fully stocked fridge full of wine, snacks, chocolates etc and also use of a wide range of make-up to test. My hair stylist was very friendly and gave great advice on what I should or should not have done. The saloon itself is very modern, stylish, clean and its in a fab location right in the centre of Oxford Circus.
What an amazing place. The staff are great, they have internet, cool water machine and fridge stocked with loads of goodies. Unfortunately the day I went there, they had had a break in so that is the only reason why the ambiance was a little off but that didn't effect my treatment. Super nice stylist and very professional. Can't wait to go back!!!
At last, a hair salon in London that doesn't overcharge and gives you what you want in luxury surroundings! The staff are polite, professional, attentive and friendly and if you're lucky enough like me, you could have two stylists working on you together at the same time to meet "I have to leave in an hour deadlines"! Having tried salons in the city, Clapham, Dulwich and Islington I have been on the look for a place which delivers exactly what I wanted and as a self confessed Miss Fussy it's not easy. I loved the little extras on offer like free soft drinks and wine from the self service SMEG fridge and free kettle chips or biscuits - what girl doesn't enjoy a glass of wine and a pamper?! The salon layout is cool, fresh and modern and being tucked away from the crowds of Oxford Circus it really feels like a little getaway from the chaos of London. Already booked in for 6 weeks time :o)
Had my hair done at Lisa Shepherd on Saturday, it cost £20 with the mobdeal offer which included a conditioning treatment, cut and blow dry and a glass of wine. Since my appointment was at 9am I opted for a hot chocolate instead of the wine which was delicious! Was really pleased with the service. The salon is lovely and there is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. They were playing nice music and even have massage chairs at the sinks when you have your hair washed. Felt like a thoroughly special treat, like being at a spa. Reena cut my hair, she was lovely and made a really nice job of my hair :) very happy, would highly recommend this place.
Had an offer for a hair treatment, haircut and a glass of wine for £20. The venue is located near Oxford Circus, but tucked away in a nice quiet area on Mortimer Street. When I arrived, I wasn't offered a drink until about ten minutes after my arrival, even though I was the only client in there and there were a few staff members in there. Anyway, for £20, I cannot compain! Jason, the hairdresser was relaxed and pleasant and i am very satified with the cut. I have curly hair, so it is difficult to find a confident hairdresser who is not afraid to handle it. Was very impressed by the blow dry and he offered some useful tips.
