The store front is a little small. I almost walked right by it. When I got inside, the waiting area seemed nice enough but the actual room where the waxing was done needed a new coat of paint. It was clear, however, that they took time to wipe down the waxing table and put a protective layer over it.
This was only my second Brazilian wax so I would’ve appreciated a little more direction about what to do. Like when the receptionist led me into the room, I wasn’t sure whether to disrobe or wait for the woman doing the wax to come in and speak to me. Apparently I was expected to disrobe since the woman doing the treatment just walked in to ask if I was ready. It also would’ve been nice to have something to cover myself with before the treatment began since the woman who does the wax has to slide the door open to enter, potentially revealing your most private parts to passerby.
The treatment itself was good and not too painful. I am happy with the result but would appreciate a little more in the way of customer service. People who are seeing such a personal part of you should really be more personable.
