Having lived for years with frizzy unruly hair, taking hours to style, I took the leap and booked in for the Japanese Straightening Treatment at Earth. Quite nervous, I arrived to a comforting welcome and an amazing experience. Everyone made me feel at ease and the dramatic change to my hair speaks for itself. I now have smooth silky hair, thanks to the professional team at Earth with special thanks to Kenji

I went to earth hair dressing to get my hair cut,
It was my first time as I swap and changed hair salons all the time, as soon as I walked into earth they kindly took my bags and coat gave me a seat and offered me a drink then had the most amazing hair wash. I was very pleased with my haircut and for all those reasons I certainly will not be changing salons again!

Not happy with this service in the slightest. I paid £45 in total for a cut, blow dry and head massage - and I will now have to pay more to book a second appointment elsewhere to fix what they did. I brought in photographs of a haircut I once previously had (so I knew the look was realistically achievable) and frankly the finished result looked nothing like it and was a bit of a mess. I had to pay £10 extra to have it gone over with straighteners and the quality of the straight blow dry wasn't good. I brought up my issues with the cut and positioning of my fringe with the stylist who became hostile very quickly and said what I was asking for isn't achievable with my hair. I didn't want to press the point too much as I felt it would get ugly.... but seeing as I had photographs proving I had this cut successfully in the past and know from experience what I can do with my hair, believe they were very wrong. Their point moots the concept of "hair styling". The stylist also commented I have Afro hair - which is not the case! I have very dense curly hair, shows what they know.... I will certainly never be back and I do not recommend the cut and blow dry service.
I achieved to get a quick Fringe Trim for the same day. Service was smooth and good! Staff were friendly. Will return!
