Nice salon, VIP room was a bit unneccessary as the whole salon looks lovely. They use good products, and clients left with nice styles and glossy hair... So you ask why have rated this just OK.
Well I have curly hair and as soon as I got there the sytlist looked like he'd never seen curly hair before, I explain I was in for a cut and blow dry (as per my voucher). After much deliberation I asked if he was confident in doing my hair if not I could leave. He then called his manager over who offered to do my hair. Basically he explained that my hair would take extra work to make straight and as such the voucher I bought really wasnt really suitable, and that there is another hairdressers upstair that specialises in Afro-carribean hair which would not take my voucher and would charge me for a another appointment. In my time I have been to many salons, Toni & Guy, Sean Hanna to name a few and none have ever had a problem blowing my hair straight over a barrel brush. I think the issue was that it was going to take longer that the allotted hour for my appointment for which he would have wanted to charge extra money.
In the end he washed, wet cut (trimmed really) and blow-dried my hair straight and ran ceramic tongs over to add sheen. Cut was a bit lop-sided but I was happy enough... and want charged anything extra, wont be going back, but is probably fine if you're hair's straight!!!!
I enjoyed my experience in this salon, the hairdresser was very nice and I thought he did a good job, I only asked for a normal trim and tidy up and that is what I got, Id happily go back if there was another offer on, looking at the normal price for this its quite alot.

Requested advice on long-term strategy. Stylist explored my long-term aims, my bone structure and my use of hair care products, and gave me some very sound advice.
I will definitely be returning.
Great! The salon had really good facilities, the therapist gave an AMAZING head massage and a really good hair cut, no messing just good service. I would recommend the salon for anyone wanting a professional haircut!
