Had an initial consultation booking with Ray at My Sports Injury.
My Sports Injury was easy to find and the staff in the gym were helpful and considerate as I waited. When Ray finished with his previous client he was very welcoming and we began the consultation promptly. We discussed my issue and he gave me a comprehensive breakdown on my recovery and how he could help. It felt more genuine than some of the ‘big’ companies I’ve been to before, he made me feel valued.
He gave some advice on home techniques to try, and was able to deliver a treatment in the session. He educated me on how following appointments with him will benefit my condition and didn’t want to rush anything.
I will be returning in a week and can definitely recommend him. He is easy to talk to and has also gave me fantastic advice and checked up on me after the consultation which you don’t normally get from other therapists.

The clinic itself is a little tricky to find - it’s within a yoga studio but there is no sign outside for the massage place, so for a while I wasn’t sure I was in the right place. It also has a private entrance and no one answered the door for about 10 minutes, and no one picked up the phone. I understand the therapist was busy and there were no reception staff - but still a little off putting.
The clinic itself is very clean and the therapist was very friendly. Unfortunately I’ve had a lot of sports massages and have to say that this one wasn’t great by comparison - it felt very disjointed and a little as though the therapist was making it up as he went along, I didn’t feel like the complaints I raised at the beginning were addressed (at least without me repeating them) and the therapist tried to stop after 40 minutes when I’d paid for an hour.
overall it was ok but I would expect more for the price.

Excellent consultation. I trust Ray and he has helped me massively with not only my rehab but pushing me beyond to maximise my performance. The diversity of his skills and knowledge is really impressive. There are not many specialists who have their hand in so many different disciplines! Great and look forward to working with him again soon.
