Seems like a nice enough place but got a much shorter cut than I described, only because stylist didn't seem to realise that hair gains volume once dried? The stylist also didn't check the length and I found a few long bits once I got home. Overall I got an okay haircut but not quite what I had wanted or showed them on the picture. I had also originally booked in for a wash and cut and they just gave me a dry cut, not a problem but would have been nice to be consulted.
I unfortunately had the worst bleach and tone I have ever had here. To their credit, my roots were long and dark, and on the day she did try bleaching twice. However she did not initially tone after the second bleach, which in my experience, is standard practice. I left with yellow hair instead of the platinum white I normally achieve. Also to Ozlem's credit, I called the next day and she offered to tone me again to try and correct it. It did not end up perfect, but they did try to correct.
The salon was empty and the hairdresser seemed very inexperienced. I asked for layers, and she kept asking me how to cut it and how you cut my hair. My hair isn’t very unusual, I just have thick curly hair. I came out with one short layer and the rest of my hair long. Luckily my curls hide it, otherwise I would have a mullet... the other hairdresser stood over me while my hair was being washed which made me worried about Covid. They put some horrible sticky mousse in my hair and left it wet.
