Not happy with the service, was asked to hurry up and choose a colour as the technician had to be quick for another appointment. I was even a little early for my appointment which then started on time.

I only ever go to this salon to get my nails done & usually I’m so happy but unfortunately not this time - 2 of my cuticles got cut & are sore & bleeding which the nail artist didn’t even acknowledge. Unfortunately this wasn’t just a spot or two of blood it’s all along the cuticle and has dried under the edge of my pale nail varnish & left a dark blood mark along the edge I can’t get rid of 😩 also had to ask for them to be reshaped twice as they weren’t what I asked for and were uneven

I was very early as my previous appointment had not taken as long as I expected. As it was freezing outside I asked if I could just wait inside or if they wanted me to come back (because of covid). They didn’t really answer my question and instead frantically shuffled the girls around so they could start me right away. While that was nice of them, I hadn’t wanted to create a commotion or stress them out, I just wanted to quietly wait on the chair with my phone and mask on until it was my time. Nevertheless, I appreciate them accommodating me.
I wanted a CND shellac colour but the therapist asked if it was okay if she used the same colour from another brand as the one I wanted was empty. She just sort of held the bottle up and didn’t really show me the colour. I asked if it was shellac and not gel because I wanted shellac and she said yes, shellac. However, when I research DND it says it a gel which I did not want. I think some people don’t truly understand the difference, and this is rather annoying when you want shellac and not gel. Furthermore, the colour is more of a cherry red than a raspberry red which is what I had wanted.
Finally, the description on the £2 nail file because of covid should read that you’re allowed to bring in your own, as it reads as though you have to buy one on your visit and can bring it back next time. However, when the therapist started she asked me if I brought one and I said I didn’t realise I could. I purchased theirs as I had planned to, but this ended up in the bin because they didn’t give me anything to cover it with/protect it and I didn’t have a bag on me, so I just threw it away because I had to carry it with my bare hand on the train etc.
