I visited the salon after booking a gel removal and signature rose manicure via Treatwell and assumed that the nail technician would know what I had booked in for.
The removal was painful and I asked them to be careful as they were filing so aggressively.
Then I was given a very quick shape and polish with my cuticles pushed back, again to the point of it being painful, and I was all done within 40 minutes.
When my appointment finished, I told the lady at the desk that I had booked a manicure and been given a shape and polish and she refused to give a discount or credit note for the difference in price and instead gave me some collagen gloves to take home. Whilst I appreciate these are expensive, I didn’t actually want them, I just wanted a nice manicure?
I was not pleased with the experience or the attitude of the staff - if you don’t like bookings being made via “a Third Party” ie Treatwell, then don’t advertise on there? And when clients come into the salon, it’s your responsibility to know what treatment you’re providing. You wouldn’t wax somebody who came in for a massage?
Won’t recommend a visit here - the Mayfair branch was far more friendly.
