First manicure wasn't great - patchy, different shape nails, gaps at the side of the nails and one gel nail wasn't buffed off so was left totally wonky; disappointed with the overall result.
After speaking to the manager on the phone regarding the manicure, I was invited to go back and have my nails fixed. I stated that I couldn't go in that day as I was too far on my journey home, however would call in the next day and asked for the name of the manager to confirm with her the time of my visit the next day.
I then called the next day to arrange my subsequent visit, the manager wasn't there and the staff denied any knowledge of her and insisted there was nobody there with that name. Having eventually realised who I was the staff then said they had no idea I was coming back that day.
When I eventually arrived at the venue on the Sunday, the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming at all. The staff barely communicated with me, and spent more time speaking amongst themselves when I couldn't understand them. I have to say, the second manicure is really great in terms of quality and the nails do look fab.
However, the staff made a big deal about buffing off the remains of one brisa gel nail (which to remove literally took about an extra 30 seconds of buffing) and tried to claim that this was an additional service on top of the shellac removal I had already paid for. I am not entirely sure what a few extra seconds of buffing would cost but I haven't ever experienced this at any other nail bar I've been to.
Overall, not what I'd expected and wouldn't return to this particular venue.
