Have had shellac nails several times, first time I have tried here wanting to try somewhere different. Unfortunately the same reviews and problems as others have written about - the shellac doesn't stay on at all, peels at the tip of the nail and then takes half the nail off with it when you eventually succumb to removing the flapping bit of nail varnish. The staff although friendly, the lady who served me spoke so softly and quietly to me I couldn't hear what she was saying - she wasn't very well apparently though when spoke to her colleagues the volume in her voice remarkably returned.
That said the quality of the manicure was fantastic and the girl gave you a fantastic hand massage at the end (I'd have paid my money just for this)
It's a shame, at the time I thought they were great though the nails have lasted me less than three days which is an expensive short term shellac manicure.

I booked a spray tan ready for my friend's wedding for which I was a bridesmaid. I was a bit worried being a tanning novice and the last thing I wanted was to be Essex brown when I walked down the isle behind the bride! The staff were lovely and took my comments on board giving me the lovely sunkissed look I was after. The tan was thorough without any patchiness or brown heels thanks to some well placed barrier cream. The shop is clean and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. I'd happily recommend and will be going back again.
One of the staff on the front desk was generally rude when I arrived and left me sitting waiting for a long time. My appointment was just before closing hours and it was apparent she just wasn't bothered and didn't want to be there at all - really unprofessional and quite rude.
The girl that did the spray tan was amazing - tan was perfect except hands and feet a bit orange. Would definitely go back based on how professional the spray tanning girl was - this would not have been the case with the impression I got when I first arrived off the girl at the desk.
Overall satisfied, but I expect regardless of what time you arrive for an appointment, whether it be just before closing or not, you should be treated as a valued customer and with at least some respect.
Arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment. Got sat down for my pedicure. The lady doing it wasn't particularly nice, but I suspect there might have been a language barrier. Was not offered a glass of water, or coffee or anything else. When the pedicure started, I was asked what colour nail polish I'd like. I was made to pick from a colour swatch. Once the colour was chosen, they went ahead with the pedicure. Half-way through, the receptionist realized I was getting the wrong pedicure. I had booked a luxury one, and ended up being given a classic one. The classic pedicure was shockingly bad. No massage, no nothing. 35 quid for some filing, some colour (I was charged for Shellac removal too). That's it. They didn't even take care of the bottoms of my feet, which look terrible as a result.
At the end, I was asked how my visit was. When I replied that it did not meet my expectations, the receptionist curtly said: "too bad."
I get regular pedicures (at least every 2 weeks) and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. They could've had me as a regular customer, but I will NEVER return to that place. On top of it all, awful atmosphere, not particularly clean either. AVOID.
Great service, friendly staff and good value for money. The salon is very nicely decorated and plays fun music. Very happy with the results and pedicure has lasted for 3 weeks without chipping. Will be returning soon!
