I made an appointment for 4pm and wasn't seen until nearly 4.30 after I pointed out that somebody had walked in at 4.15 and was seen straight way. They had to do something different to take the gel off my nails as apparently it was hard gel (It had to be filed off rather that scraped off which didn't take any longer than I had observed in my 30 minute wait. I could have done it myself at home). This cost an extra £10 more and wasn't explained to me at the time. Bearing in mind the treatment that I had booked was £12 this meant that the whole treatment was nearly 100% more than I expected. I didn't receive the cuticle treatment which was supposedly in the package I had booked so I left with dry and rough finger tips after the filing treatment. Also in other salons I have been to they put your hands under heat to set the nail varnish (not just gels) which they didn't do here. This meant that I couldn't do anything for 30 minutes and even after that damaged the nail varnish.

Always good service and quality extensions. All the girls are lovely and friendly
I booked an appointment, with any technician, for the combi manicure and pedicure package. Upon arriving, I was shown to a seat and offered a drink. 25 minutes later, I was still waiting to be spoken to or updated about when my treatments would start and was dismayed to see an array of people coming in off the street getting treatments before me. Wgen i questioned it, i was told it was because the person assigned to me (not requested by me) was over-running. This is not good customer care. I had plenty of time to survey my surroundings: dead flowers in the vase, no music/ambience, stressed looking/miserable staff - it certainly wasn't the pampered environment I was hoping for. Another client who'd booked was also kept waiting around 20-25 mins whilst others came in off the street were treated before her. I was happy with the result of my manicure and pedicure but was surprised my hands and feet weren't immersed in water to soften them up (you have to pay for the upgraded treatments for that) - it was quite painful when the cuticles were being pushed back. The price was good (although a bowl of water to soften before treatments should come as standard); there was an extensive choice of colours and I was offered 2 drinks during my time there. I would suggest better communication from them, some ambience, and a bit of a clean as the trays containing the cotton wool under the technicians seats were a bit grubby. I dont seen the point in booking a time slot as there were no apologies for the delay, which meant I was an hour late getting back to work. 3/5 as my issues are all easily fixed and my nails looked nice and the cost was fair.
Very thorough, efficient & good attention to destabilise. I’ll be back soon!
