I’m 9 months pregnant and I was really looked after. I had a mani / pedi and was really happy with the result. Had a lovely, relaxed afternoon. Thank you to the team.
It was ok. I went to get my upper lip threaded. I’m Southern European so have the whole package - big hair, big eyebrows, dark hair on my upper lip, pretty common features really and it’s not something I’m particularly ashamed of! But the therapist wouldn’t stop staring at the hair on my face and asked me three times whether I wanted ALL of my face threaded (I’m making myself sound like some sort of yeti, but I’m really not at all!) She then proceeded to inspect my face and ask me whether I had any hormonal issues. I do appreciate trying to make small talk and also that I do have a bit of hair but I really just wanted to get my upper lip done, quickly and without fuss, and not be asked intrusive questions in front of the whole salon. I think possibly there was a language barrier so the questions came out a bit abrupt but maybe you should work on your bedside manner!
