I had a very unpleasant experience with Diana. I had a classic pedicure and first she complained (yes, in a rude way too) that I wasn't wearing flip flops and once I suggested that I could just wait, as I did in the past elsewhere, she repeated that I should have wore them. Then, she refused to had a look at some dead skin I had (very small on both sides) saying it was a verruca and I should see a GP, and she refused to do anything. Luckily the owner of the place is extremely gentle and took the time to have a look at it and indeed not only said that it was some simple tough skin due to the walking and nothing worrying to show to the GP, but she fixed it. I am very glad about the attitude of the manager but not at all about Diana: I think she should have another attitude with clients. The three stars are just because of the kindness of the manager.
Booked a hot wax, got strip which was painful. She did a good job, but they were quite busy and the customer service was not good. Someone walked in on my Hollywood wax half way through to get something, and the beautician didn't give me privacy to get changed when we finished - and it just felt really uncomfortable. I could tell this probably wasn't usually how the service would usually be, and perhaps I'd caught them on a bad day. It's quite daunting going for a Hollywood at a new place, so I'm felt very uncomfortable.
Nara is a nice place and a gem in Acton. However it is a bit pricey. I got the deep cleansing facial which included a lot of positions which was nice and felt luxurious however I would have liked for them to have spent more time on the extraction as that was the main reason for booking this treatment.
