I had an Hollywood hot wax and a eyebrow and upper lips wax and it went well! The girl made sure the wax wasn't too hot for every time she put it on me and also she took off All the Little hair that weren't coming off with the wax.
Had to wait a while to be seen and the treatment wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The masseuse used her forearm a lot to rub up and down my back, often on my spine, which was painful. I did tell her where my pain was - I needed pressure with hands to work out the knots, rather than general hard rubbing everywhere with her forearm. Doubt I will go back.
I have been a regular customer at Nara's for about 2 years and frequently have a Hollywood wax. Usually I am very happy with my treatment, however this time I was disappointed that end result was not perfect as I have come to expect from Nara's. Unfortunately I did not mention this at the salon as I didn't realise quite the extent until I got home.
I will still return to Nara's for future treatments as we all have an off day from time to time and usually they are so good.
The salon is always clean inside, and the staff on the reception desk are welcoming. I would prefer a therapist who makes a little small talk throughout the treatment, but that is just personal preference.
I had booked a treatment online. As soon as I entered, I was informed that they recommended a course of at least 10 sessions, and the half face treatment would be enough, and I should have the 1 hr full treatment as well at 75 pounds, instead of the 30 min 30 pound taster that I wanted. I was told then to have a treatment, that I can't have due to my medical history, which they never checked. Tina, the therapist kept trying a hard sell of 2 concurrent packages costing well over a grand! She did this by stressing that my skin was sagging and loose and ageing. If I wasn't a confident person, she would have knocked it! She was unprofessional, and also used inferior products that felt awful on my skin that wasn't the brand of facial advertised.
