Being 34 weeks pregnant I was looking for some pampering for my swollen feet, and to have a lovely bold polish on my toes prior to giving birth.
The pedicure carried out was well done, with lots of soaking of my feet, and lovely lotions & scrubs applied.
I brought my own polish which was expertly applied, and I left feeling relaxed & happy.
Bonus of the venue was really comfy leather chairs, that supported me comfortably for an hour. Would return, and recommend to friends.
This was my first time having my eyelashes permed and I'm so pleased with them, I've had so many compliments from friends! I would have appreciated it if the beautician had told me what she was doing as she went along/how long I had to keep my eyes closed for under the towel.
There isn't much ambience/privacy - I got ready for my wax and the bed is positioned so that when i therapist comes back into the room (after leaving so you can change) - someone could see you as they walked past. The most distressing part is it was so painful i nearly asked her to stop so i could leave, i have had about 5 hot waxes in the past, and they have been nowhere near as painful. The therapist said it was because i was sweating, and the hair was long (but didn't think to cut it?) the wax was painfully hot and when i told her she just said 'well it's hot wax' - furthermore she wasnt very thorough and 2 weeks later i have loads of regrowth, and this never usually happens! bit miffed really.
