I must say I had a mixed experience. Evy is a lovely person and I really enjoyed chatting with her for an hour. £25 is really also a decent price for a pedicure and massage. However, I was taken back by the location - a dark and stuffy basement with little circulation. Unfortunately, I had the impression that the treatment room was not very clean. I also got four cuts around my toenails that still hurt two days later. People obviously appreciate the value for money but personally I don't think I would give this another go.
On first arriving and being told the 'health and beauty' bit was downstairs, I was confused when I got downstairs because I couldn't see it. I saw a door that said washroom - having lived in Canada I thought that was the door to the toilets so it took me a while to venture through the door and realise that was the part I should be in!!! I am sorry, I do not have the card with the name of the woman who gave me my pedicure written on it, so I am unable to mention her by name. BUT she was wonderful. Gave me a fantastic pedicure, was very nice, friendly and an absolute delight. I would certainly go back - she also lent me a pair of sandals even though I told her I was going to be going away and so would not be able to return them for a bit. She was OK with that - I will return them as soon as I am back home. A mega big 'thank you' to her.
The beautician was superb and my treatments were perfect. It was a bit difficult to find the treatment rooms as they are in the basement of a pub with no obvious signage other than the name above the door.
