Andreas did a good job, however the salons business model is shoddy. I arrived at 12 and the salon was shut. After causing a fuss with treatwell, the owner reluctantly opened up - the reason “she didn’t feel like opening that day”.
Throughout my appointment people kept turning up with appointments and got turned away. It is ridiculous as people had events that day to attend (myself included) and would at the last minute need to find another salon. I have never been to such an unprofessional salon. Although Andreas gave me an amazing haircut, there was no receptionist present and so he kept having to open the door and turning clients away or answering the phones - which is not a great experience for a relaxing haircut.
Had my shellac removal with Nish. She was more interested in gossiping with her colleague and moaning about how her manager wouldn’t let her leave on time. She also moaned about Andreas (who is my hairdresser) and good at his job. She didn’t focus on the job at hand and I left with weak nails. When asked if she could simply cut my nails after the removal she did a job worse than what a 5 year old would have done. As I was leaving she asked me how it went and out of politeness I said it was fine, and she then requested I write a review about her. Not the best experience and 3 weeks later my nails look wonky and brittle. Normally at least a nail strengthener is put on, but she was clearly too busy engaging in salon politics to do her job properly.
Arrived having booked to be told that the nail technician was not in. I was told to return the following day. I made another appointment online attended and was told the same as the day before. Very disappointed, and a waste of my time
